If your machine makes a noise it never used to make, or it's time for a full stripped-down service — I handle it. Rowing machines, ski ergs, bike ergs. You explain the problem, I come and assess it, source what's needed, and come back to fix it right.
See services ↓I come in, take a proper look at the machine at no charge. Once I know what's wrong, I tell you exactly what it needs and what it costs — before touching anything.
I take the machine completely apart, clean the flywheel housing, oil and inspect the chain, replace the damper if needed, check the cord tension, and ensure everything runs as it should.
I service rowing ergs, ski ergs, and bike ergs across all major brands.
The most common erg — I know every component inside out from years of training and repair.
Ski ergs take a beating everywhere — gyms, clubs, and competition floors alike. I keep them running the way they should.
Cycling ergs and machines — from squeaks and stiffness to full service and part replacement.
Unmaintained ergs lose measurable resistance. Damper 6 on a dirty gym machine can read ~100 drag factor instead of 150 — you're training harder for less output.
Lever setting is more useful than most people think. A dirty machine at damper 6 behaves very differently from a clean race-floor machine at the same setting — you could be training at half the intended resistance without knowing it. Check drag factor via Menu → More Options → Display Drag Factor.
| Damper Setting | Clean Machine Drag Factor | Dirty Machine Drag Factor | Resistance Loss |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 (Max) | ~210 – 220 | ~100 – 110 | ~50% |
| 5 (Mid) | ~120 | ~70 – 80 | ~35% |
| 1 (Min) | ~90 | ~55 – 60 | ~35% |
